Who Are You? Really!
The Christmas of 2018 was a Christmas to remember. I was surrounded by family and friends that I love and who love me. There were parties and family celebrations. Today I am hosting the last of such celebrations for a while with my sister, her family, my grandson, my son and his girlfriend. My daughter and her fiancee are starting traditions of their own. They are wonderful hosts and have friends ringing in the new year with them. As the gift wrap and smells of Christmas faded away, Adult children are busy with their own lives. The house was so quiet. It made me realize for the last 33 years I lived for my children. Everything I did centered around their activities. I was a martial arts mom, chorus mom,drama queen, soccer mom and now I am back to being Karen. Who is this Karen person? What does she like to do? As 2019 begins so does my time of discovery. Buckle up and come along with me as I experience new adventures.
